News and events News Introducing NHV Assist Limited Monday 29 June 2020 Neighbourhood Houses Victoria is excited to introduce a new HR and IR support service, NHV Assist Limited. Officially launching on 1 July 2020, NHV Assist will aim to support happy, thriving community-based workplaces when it comes to matters of human resources and industrial relations. "When I talk to managers, coordinators and committee members, one of the most frequent pieces of feedback I receive is that there’s currently a real gap in the market for HR and IR support that specialises in the unique and sometimes complex nature of the neighbourhood house sector. The development of NHV Assist is a direct response to that," said Neighbourhood Houses Victoria CEO Nicole Battle. The service however is not just limited to neighbourhood houses, and extends to other smaller community-based organisations such as adult community education providers and early childhood providers. Through an annual subscription model, NHV Assist will provide organisations with access to the following services: Legal advice and support for IR matters HR case management and troubleshooting Tailored support for the development of contract and employment agreements Employee Assistance Program (counselling) Mediation Recruitment and on-boarding Paytables Visit the NHV Assist website to find out more about the service offerings and pricings.
