Carer Connect Project Workshops

Purpose

This workshop is a key activity of the Carer Connects project. NHVic has partnered with Department of Health to support and strengthen the connections between Neighbourhood Houses and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centres.

What to Expect

The objective of the workshop is to co-design partnership opportunities to create stronger relationships between your neighbourhood house and the Connect Centre. The intended outcome is that this will create better opportunities for supports for carers. Your insights about your region and community are highly appreciated.

The workshop with run for 1.5 hours and consist of activities designed to:

• understand shared values

• community reflections

• ideation to address challenges

• collaboration opportunities

Who should attend

Managers and staff (paid or volunteer) of neighbourhood houses with a knowledge of carers or a desire to improve carer supports. You will be participating along with staff from the Connect Centres.
