The Department of Health and Human Services has opened up registrations for a number of upcoming consultation dates across the state in regards to the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program (NHCP) Guidelines Review.

These guidelines explain:

  • Funding and reporting requirements
  • Governance arrangements
  • Roles and responsibilities of the peak body, Committees of Management, Networks and coordinators

View the current guidelines.

This is an important opportunity for our sector to voice its feedback to the Department during a series of structured, two hour consultation workshops.

Neighbourhood Houses Victoria will have representation at all 10 sessions, one of which will occur in Lorne during our pre-conference day (4 March) - handy for those attending the masterclass and/or checking-in.

Attend one of the following sessions (click on the links to register through Eventbrite):

If you are unable to make it to one of these sessions, you can email your feedback, ideas or concerns directly to NHVic CEO Nicole Battle at [email protected]

With your support, NHVic will continue to advocate strongly to the Department every step of the way to ensure the new Guidelines reflect the growing and changing needs of our sector.
