We aim for our social media channels to be safe and respectful online spaces for all community members to participate with and enjoy.

To achieve this, Neighbourhood Houses Victoria will remove any of the following comments, as soon as they come to our attention:

• Comments which provide personal information about a person
• Complaints which identify a staff member by name – please contact us directly if you wish to make a complaint about a staff member
• Comments which defame other people or organisations. These are comments that harm the reputation of a person or organisation
• Comments that could be considered intolerant of a person's race, culture, appearance, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or age
• Comments which are advertisements or SPAM - this includes political material
• Comments which link to inappropriate, offensive or illegal material
• Comments which harass, insult or attack individuals or organisations
• Comments which are irrelevant to the original post

Additionally, will remove or ban any user who:

• continues to post comments such as those listed above
• uses offensive images as their profile picture
• has an offensive user name
